There's no official word yet on a beta start date or if there'll be any PlayStation exclusivity on that front, but it certainly seems the latter will be the case. The base Xbox version - now live on the Xbox website - contains Modern Warfare 2 itself, along with access to the upcoming open beta, which will last for at least two days. Unlike the last two years - where standalone last-gen versions were $60 - the base game is now $70, featuring access across both console generations.
